    #5416857 - 03/18/06 06:59 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

Using roadkill's karo tek (http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/4438226#Post4438226) i just created 3 jars of LC. but instead of innoculating with a syringe, i used pieces of a fully colonized cake i have chilling in the fridge. anyone know how well this is gonna go? anyone else here try this?

It will work  Just remember to agitate the jar at least once a day to break the mycelium up a bit.

if youre doing it in open air i would poor in a little h2o2. it doesn't affect myc but it kills spores. this means it will kill any spores that drop in from the air as you are putting you cake in.
