Tripping on a road trip!

I am going to be taking a 5-6 hour road trip in a week. I have the opportunity to trip on this road trip. I was wondering if anyone had ever done this or thought about it. Is it worth it? Should I just wait to get there? I will not be driving so I dont really need to worry about that. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ofcourse it is a great idea! I had thought of this in the past but never really had the opportunity to try this. Imagine going to new places and seeing new things while tripping. Definately worth a try.
What do you plan to trip on? Are you going with friends & where are you going?

It will suck if you have one of those trips where you want to be active and go walk around and stuff when all you can do is sit in the car. I want to trip on a roadtrip one time too though, so I say go for it.

Have you seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? Before embarking on this road trip you must watch that movie... then you will understand how you ought to watch out for bats, and places that sell liquor to reptiles...
hahaha
Sounds a fun thing to do; Dr J and me are thinking of travelling to Wales sometime - maybe to celebrate summer solstice... so I would be interested to hear about this, if you go head with it dude.

Id say wait until you get there. Tripping while sitting in the exact same place (sort of) for 6 hrs would get boring. Maybe not tho, depends on the tripper. Get some good tunes playin and some munchies, make sure u dont get pulled over, haha

Yes! I plan on flying to LA and renting a convertible and taking it up to Vegas eventually, hopefully next summer. So obviously I've been thinking of roadTRIPPING for a while now.
I say go for it. Try to plan a scenic route, I think hitting the highways for 6 hours wouldn't be all too fantastic but the occasional detour and great tunes would add to it.

Five of us piled into our van about a month ago and headed for the supercross championships in St. Louis. Suprised them all with some fresh Cambodians 1/2 way there. Long, strange story short...a good time was had by all! Go for it, man.

I watched this before a road trip from San Diego to Lake Havasu, AZ. For some reason the movie made an impact on how I wanted to travel....tripped the entire way on 1 cup of peyote tea acquired from an old friend who is a native american. Best road trip of my life!

Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.

Saw that movie having only experienced very little by way of psychadelics... I loved it - I really want to watch it while tripping next time - but I'd probably have to hide under the covers, as I did after drinking cactus tea just watching Full Metal Alchemist, it was a scene on a train and I was like "woah dude - eeeep!"
fun though!!!
I've just been driving a couple of years now - I'm not sure any of you would like to see me trip-driving, not if you saw what a speed freak I am normally... oh yes, that Daewoo of Mum's can so so much faster than she thinks it can - LOL

I would get all caustrophobic (sp?) in a small car on shrooms, I always need some room to move around.

Haha... all this talk of the movie.
No one reads anymore.
How many people do you think are even aware that there IS a (far superior) book?
