Most memorable videogame from your early childhood?
    #5415972 - 03/18/06 01:48 PM (18 years, 1 month ago)

I was tripping the other night and started thinking about how the movies we watched and games we played as kids have such a big impact on our lives. They can tell you a lot about who a person is.

Mine would have to be Castlevania II for the NES. I was too young to actually follow any objectives but hopping around whipping zombies and that cool music, I think it's a lot of why I like zombie movies and progressive metal these days.

How about you people?  :mariopeace: :pacman: :megaman: :link:

I'd say..mario 3 was the first game I ever played with the goal of beating it.  I loved that game.  The frog suit was awesome

Castlevania and the first Legend of Zelda are by far the most memorable games ive played when the NES first came out

I freaking loved those games! I would actually sit and draw out maps and shit for zelda.....

Oh and Dragon Warrior!! that was another one

Double Dragon was another game with amazing music, your post inspired me to download the NSF plugin for winamp so I could listen to it's soundtrack while I smoke today.  :discodance:

It's a toss up between Robotron, the original PacMan, and DigDug.

The very first game I loved was Contra for NES. AWESOME GAME EVEN NOW. Maybe you're theory's right. I've been a very violent person inside for most of my life. I repress it a lot though over the years because I knew it was wrong but really didn't know why until a couple years ago. Now i've developed my own views and what not and have a much better feeling of why most violence is wrong, but I still have a lot of urges. Most of the time I maintain it by fighting in a boxing league.

Donkey Kong for the pre-Atari ColecoVision. I think I still have one of those in the garage somewhere. Hmm..
