I like to trip having set up the place; I've not done anything outdoors as yet - though I'd like to (though waiting till its gets a bit warmer here in the UK!) as there's something that really strikes me about being with nature during the experience...
I usually have good selected music playing, with pretty visualisations running on my PC... usually with no more lighting than little candles and a glitter lamp - it works very well. Once I curled up on my bed, and actually believed I was a cushion! It was such a lovely, snuggly feeling!
For my next time I've been drawing together some music tracks to lead me through it... and of course, I have an excellent guide!
Any tunes to recommend, or suggestions as to how I might aestically enhance my surroundings for the next dream?

Make Yourself and A Crow Left of the Murder (albums) - Incubus (artist)
anything by Jimi Hendrix too.
As far as other things to have...paintings or prints...especially if you have music that relates to them. I have a painting of Hendrix in my room and when I trip and listen to his music and look at the painting, there is magic afoot...

Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd Any tracks by Astral Projection are really good too
-------------------- "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." "Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Five years later? Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.

Good tunes thanks; particulalry Hendrix and Pink Floyd... happy to have them mentioned...
Hendrix wise - I think Little Wing and Purple Haze would be the best (on thinking about it)
As for Pink Floyd, yes to Comfortably numb but also the album Dark side of the moon
thanks for the advice guys... I shall try to post up a baby's trip report when I do!
