Preserving the Babies......

This time I am trying something different and new to me. In order to dry out my shyt, I am using the brown, paper bag method. I didn't feel like making the crap out of iron mesh and damp-rid, really didn't like that method. I don't have money for a food preserver, I wish I did, that seems the best. Am I doing this correct: I harvested my shyts and slightly cleaned them off, then I dropped them in a paper bag. Once in the bag, I folded the bag over and placed the bag in the refrigerator (however you spell it, you know what I mean). How long do I let the bags sit in the fridge, or how long does it usually take for them to dry with this method? Can the shyts remain in the same bag for the entire period or is it best to re-new bags once the old bag dampens out?
Am I doing this correct???? Is there a better way without spending money??

Okay well start 8y taking them out of the 8ag and put them on some newspaper in a warm (not hot) dark place with air flow. If you keep them where you have them they will rot.

Exactly. That is used to keep mushies fresh for a few days to a week. Not preserve them. If you have a fan, put the mushies in front of it for a few days. They should dry out just fine. To get cracker dry you will more than likely need to damp-rid them, unless you live in a desert or a dry arid climate like that.

If you have a time limit on the drying or whatever, you can use a fan assisted oven on (very) low, that'll do a good job but may reduce potency slightly.
Hey Roach, is your B button broken or something??
