Hydrofarm Seedling Heat Mat (does this work?)

I was Checking out the heat mats sold in this kit here
http://www.sunlightsheds.com/fungus_kit.htm
I was considering using this mat with the optional thermastate to control the temperature. I was honestly just thinking about using the trays and humidity domes they give you to perform all the steps in the mushroom growing process
*this would include #1 set the temp at 82-84 and put the jars inside the humidity dome in complete darkness. #2 set the temp to the correct fruiting temperature.
My three main worries are...
#1 Will these heat mats work or am I waisting my time? I have a limited height I can work with, My aquarium doesn't really fit in the space I would like to use, but a heat mat with the tray and humidity dome would be great.
#2 will misting the humidity dome along with the heat mat under it provide the correct humidity levels? My room temp is about 70 with the humidity at 60 (this is according to the meter on my wall, so it could be +/- 5 degrees
#3 I'm pretty sure I can't do anything about air exchange with this except faning, correct?
other details that might help #1 using sterilized BRF with vermiculite, #2 casing = unsure which one yet. any opinions with this set up are welcome #3 I'll be using B+ spores
any other details need please let me know.
Thank you everyone for taking your time and helping me with my situation. I would love to use this really neat automated aquarium setup I have, but sadly space does not permit it
Also I searched for hours looking for "seedling", "heat mat", "hyrdrofarm" and I couldn't find anything. If I missed a post about this I again appologize as I know how annoying it can be when people don't use the SEARCH feature
take care

it will work, but you "should" get a temp controll unit.
these heat mats heat too much and can overheat substrate. put a couple layrs of something inbetween your FC and the mat and you should be fine.

If I buy a temp control unit, What temperature should you set it at so the inside temperature is just about right Usualy about 2-3 degree difference between outside and inside right?
I was thinking about setting it to 80-82 for the jars and then cutting back into the 70's (72-75) for birthing
this sound about right? I wish I could find a pic of someone using one of these here lol

Thank you very much again. Should the humidity build to the correct level for a casing? I can't see why it wouldn't but i have to special order everything from a local store hah so I just want to make sure before I drive the clerk nuts
And air exchange can probably only be done by fanning with this method correct? I have been trying to think of a way to automate the air exchange process with this set up, but can't come up with anything
Thanks again for all your advice this is the best community

First what are you trying to accomplish incubating or fruiting? 82-84F is incubating temps and then your saying fanning and humidity none of this makes any sense. I suggest slowing down read my pinning strategy so you know whats going on. Are you using the same container for both incubating and fruiting? They both have totally different parameters FYI. Fruiting temps are in the low to mid 70's BTW. Regroup and reevaluate ASAP!

Oyster Shell "Flour" $2 for 1lb. a hell of a deal Not what is overlay but rather what overlay is Gas Exchange vs. FAE "We all have priorities. I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"

i put a seedling heat mat under one of these... it got too hot, but humidity was better on the one with it.
You can fan the fc if you like, or add an airpump. a small airpump from walmart is what i used here and the fae was great.

notice the little hose going into the fc. it's what i used.
:Edit: I was told that providing more FAE will help in providing shorter thicker fruits, so they are not soo tall. Thanks Hyphae!
