Casing Bluing

Is it common for mycelium that has protruded from the casing layer to turn blue as if it were bruised, even tho it was never touched? If so, what is this an indication of?

if it hasnt been touched, it is an indication of lack of moisture..usually you can up the humidity and this problem will go away...unless youre on your third or so flush and your casing has used up all available water.
