first attempt so far, so good!

im using the pf tek for the brf cakes, i started with 2 (looking back i wish i would have made 3-4) i waited 4 days after sterilizing, i saw no signs of bacteria, so i inoculated on jan. 21 appx. 6 days later the ecuadorian strain was showing signs of mycellium. now, 2 weeks after inoculation, all inoculation spots are showing growth, except for one spot, but i looks as though the mycellium around it will close in on it. i would say that about 25-30% of the jars are colonized, its usually 70 degrees in my room, but i just got a catalytic heater and its about 76-78 now. there is still no signs of bacteria or mold, and i just wanted to thank everyone on these boards that has given me a hand.
