Yeh I'm thinking about it.

Right now the list of places to live come fall is
Chicago
San Fran
Paris
Amsterdam
Montreal
New York

most eu countries won't give a work visa to a non-citizen unless you are in some skilled line of work that requires you being there (ie, engaged in scientific research) or a student. of course, you can always find multi-nationals that send their employees off to foreign lands

Spain being the exception, BTW. I don't think it's hard for a USA citizn to find work here at all, specially teaching English. I mean, I'm a Spaniard and I could give English lessons if I wanted for a living.

If they decide to come here eventually I don't think that's gonna be a problem.

I love the Michigan album as well. Romulus is my favorite song on it.

again, the problem would be getting a visa. if you're working for an american company, and happen to be 'stationed' overseas, that would work - but i believe most EU countries won't give you a work-visa as an american

I want to travel next summer.

Or whenever I get some money.

I wanna go wander Europe in a drunken haze.

Just remember, wandering Europe in a drunken haze works best on the buddy system. :smirk:
