live culture too old?

ok i had a honey/water LC in my inncubator  4 about a month. I know it should live iun the fridge but my girl no so happy spores in fridge land, eheheh, I cheked it 2day some of the myc is floating on the top but most is still l;ooking ok floating round the jar, i did use it a week ago and shot  up some WBS and it was fine,  do u think im still good to go with this, as id rather not waste it if its fine! :rolleyes:

well if its 4 months old and just one week ago it was fine then i would assume it still fine.
no one can tell you otherwise beucase its not like theres an exact date that LC will live. exactly 3 months and 27 days 3 hours 22 mins.

It's been in the fridge less than a month? I've read several posts that say that is well within spec. Use it.

Now how did you know that?!!! Damn your good! :thumbup: Actually myc will go along time, I've seen 1yr.+ and still be as viable as 1 month old cultures. Over time viability will decrease somewhat relative to duration, I will say your just fine bro! GL
