Casing WBS method ?

Wondering whats the most effective method to case colonized WBS ? I am using pint jars and going to case with 50/50+. When casing, should I break the cake in half or all crumble up or dont break it at all ? Can I even mix it with casing material ? Any input r welcome ~ Thanks !

i have not ever grown i am starting a wbs grow soon tho...
first of all, WBS isnt going to be in a colonized cake form, only like pf tek is cakes i think
so youre goign to be crumbling the wbs up because its not even gonna be in a cake form anyway...

break that shit up thats one of th reasons to use grains is that it breaks up and makes tons of point to spawn from. your not spawning it seems though. you should. wbs doesn't doo very well when just cased. those little seeds just don't hold water very well. -look into spawning to poo or compost -make a nice even layer out of your wbs. then case when casing it straight.

Good luck getting colonized WBS out of a jar in a 'cake' shape.

Okay, now you got me all second guessing myself. Gonna go look at the box the jars came in. I know that my pint jars, which I use for LCs are wide mouth. Bleh, brb.

Kerr "self sealing" Wide Mouth Mason Jars.
Any idea Agar, why I had to carve mine out? Shrinkage was minimal. The quart sized jars do have a little shoulder on them. At least mine do. Perhaps my box was mislabelled?
