Cell phones on planes

I just saw as news cast about the government allowing cell phones on planes in the near future and how they would have to put something like a cell tower in the planes.
This made me think for a moment. What about all those cell phone calls that came from the heroic victims of the hijacked plane on 9/11. How could they call with their cell phones if they wouldn't work and weren't allowed on the plane?

Phones are allowed on a plane, they just aren't permitted to be turned on during flight. One of the main reasons that they are not allowed to be operated is because when a user is in the air their phone can connect to more than one cell at once, tying up more resources than necessary and cause issues for normal users.
There is also the issue of interfering with the planes instrumentation, but cockpits nowadays are so shielded that it really is a non issue; but certification would have to be done for each phone and when you have 100 new ones coming out every day thats near impossible. So they figure better safe than sorry.

If you have to ask, you must hate our freedoms.
Hahaha... Just kidding. I'm sure Fox news came up with a reason why it worked.

Uhhh We were lied to. If you check the internet a few people have tested cell phones on planes and he discovered that cellphones lose the ability to connect and stay connected at a certain altitude.
His experiments show that if your 30,000 ft in the air (what the government says the planes were at when hijacked) that you have a .3% success rate.
So yes the phone calls were fake and could not have been placed. We were lied to about 911 and there is plenty of evidence that the story was a lie.
There are plenty of documentaries and news reports that explains the "lies" that the government continues to cover up.
Read about it and you will see the truth!

I read that the passengers on the 9/11 flights were only able to connect for a short while and the reception wasnt so great.

Just because the planes were Hi-Jacked at 30000 feet did not mean that they stayed at that elevation. Your claims have no backing to them what so ever.
If you know that these calls were fake then put some proof out. Obviously the planes were not at 30000 feet when they hit the towers eh???

People can come up with a lot of BS on the internet. How do you think that bullshit about 4000 jews not being in towers got around the whole fucking world... Some muslim leaders posted that shit on website and people ate it up like shit covered in whipped cream.

blahahahaha....So I guess your one of those "IT WAS THE GOVERNMENT!" Conspiracy Theory freaks, lol. "Oh, the Towers came down cause the government hired demo crews to wire the buildings and blow them up!" <~Most contraversial theory; Cmon, don't you think some fuckin RAT would have said something by now? It would have involved MANY Government officials and military to get away with ANY type of scheme. Don't think our Govt. is all honest...

Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.
