post an album that you find is worthy of sharing. you know, the album that stays in your current rotation. i'll start. =)

i needed music for my planetrip home from canada, so gillette took me to a music store where i heard this album playing. i grabbed it after only hearing 1 song, hoping i didnt bomb out on that decision if it were to be a shitty cd, like most albums nowadays. i like all of the tracks on this cd except for one (1st track). the cd is subtle, yet pretty. something youd listen to while you were driving in the rain on a roadtrip while watching the scenery pass you by.
anyway, heres the torrent: http://www.mininova.org/tor/171198 & the amazon.com review/buy page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BPO...v=glance&n=5174
check it out. =)

A band local to Alaska actually. I've had their CD permanently in my CD player ever since the first show I saw. They're getting a bit of popularity as of lately.

Pink Floyd Animals.
If I were only allowed to own one album and was forced to destroy every other cd and mp3 that I own, this would without a doubt be the album that I would keep.

Disturbs new CD (10,000 fist) is totally worth buying. Also, the Billy Talent CD you can put in your ur disc player and listen to from start to finish without wanted to skip songs...i think they are the only good mainstream band that came out after the year 2000 that i like.

?Imagine Shane Macgowan from the Pouges and Tom Waits with more whiskey in his throat and a little more eerie and haunting? a Fiddler On the Roof kind of character that listened to too many punk records. There is a street feeling to this music, something that feels like you should be digging change out of your pocket to throw into a hat as you listen.?

nah, it was 'sam malone' that was playing. (it reminded me of the alice n chains unplugged album (also in my top 5 albums) without all the bells & whistles of a live show.) the cds tracks are the same style yet all the songs are unique. my fav tracks on that cd are 'day old hate' acoustic, subtle vocals & piano. really chill. & 'coming home' for that blue-zy feel.

This album is inarguably a peice of Rock and Roll history. Not only is it home to a lot of great and famous songs by the Who, varying greatly from one another, but The Who actually had fun with this album. In between most of the tracks are fake little commercials that they did, just for fun. It's a great album, hell of a lot of fun.

I'm guessing most of you guys probably won't like the same stuff as me, but this album comes to mind because I just got it in 2005.. It's newer but the songs are old rare releases.
I love this stuff
