Turns out lots of folks, cannot seem to find their MARBLES.
To use as an agitator device in LC's.

Well, almost every big mart, pet shop, or craft store.
Has small odd shaped solid glass pebbles, for differing uses.
They run about $1.69 for a bag full (70 or 80).

I hope you still got your ROCKS.

Reality is, a couple well rounded quartz pebbles will work.
If ya clean/boil them first.

Nothing better than free.

yeah still have those, but with the loss of the marbles they are moving around ever so slightly wearing away day by day, lol...

even pieces of broken beer bottles, canning jars or mayonnaise jars will work if cleaned properly before adding them to the lc jar....

:peace:

if there is a wal-mart... there is a way.
i got a bag of marbles from wally-fuck-world for $0.89
you just gotta look around, its not hard.

on that level, i'm dealing with the struggle of trying to perfect the higher method of making LC jars (Agar's tek, or otherwise) since Karo Baby Bottles are obviously inferior - even if they DO WORK...

Agar...

didn't someone just have a post the other day about ol pro's like you making all this look easier than it is??? LOL!!!

i just gotta find the right kinda tubing.

also, i was thinking about using the rubber port from a vacutainer as an injection port for the LC bottle on top of the 2 tubes (or in place of one of them)

but who am i to innovate on something i haven't even mastered yet?!?

i just know Baby Bottles worked WELL for me, but they are inferior.
also, i gotta step up from Karo to Malt/Dextrose...

either way, thank you for the info that led to me being able to end up w/ viable LC - period.

Check with local pharmacy, for urine catheter tubing.

Or, small bore rubber vacuum line from an auto parts store.
it's like $4, for 4 feet.

Broken glass is good, I droped a jar on my tile and kept the scraps for my LC's.

lately ive made some LC's just with boiling water adding it to whatever nutrients and nuking it a few times. Sort of like agars post from either today or yesterday but for LC. work fine sanitation wise so far. oh and i finally forgot to put in an angitator. i swirled but i still got such lusious myc growth i had a hell of a time sucking it into teh syringes.(been on too much because of waiting for teh contest so i can't keep track.)

i was once not really for this marble or broken glass idea. i just did it because. now im convinced DON'T LOSE YOUR MARBLES PEOPLE!

I dont use anything.

You can stick an airport in there for FAE and just leave it.  Then take them out and SHAKE THE CRAP OUT OF THEM.  If I were the Mycelium I would be awfully agited by that
If it would help to add marbles I bought some for the original this posts point but it seemed pointless.
