Beware: Photo developers!
    #5409318 - 03/16/06 05:02 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

Photo developers are required by law to report any illegal photos to the police. People have been arrested this way. (A friend of mine used to develop photo's at a shop). And i hear that peyote is illegal there in US so watch out for that too.

After a message i received from some-one in relation to my weed Dr. post
i realised that some people may not know this.
So WATCH OUT!!!
DIGITAL ONLY.

Yeah... I guess I always thought this would go without saying...

Seems most people have moved to digital anyway. I remember lots of stories about dumbass photo developers reporting parents for taking pictures of their 2 year old kids in the bath playing with toys. Fucktards.

I know this doesn't belong in here. but a lot of kids on that myspace bullshit. they're being kicked off sports teams because the athletic departments find them and tell the parents. kind of bullshit, but don't be doing illegal things in pictures. (duh) never show your face!

That too is good advice.
I knew a guy who used to work in a photo lab years ago. He had a habit of making copies whenever he came across explicit photos and even assembled a scrap book of these pictures. Well, long story short, at a party he threw someone found a photograph of their ex-girlfriend and kicked his ass. He eventually got caught and lost his job over it too.

There were a some people i knew from highschool (I had partied with them but not real friends) that took a bunch of acid and mutilated a cat. They were dancing around in it's entrails taking pictures. The dumbasses took them to get developed at walgreens. No wonder drugs are illegal.

Some people are just wrong too begin with, drugs can bring out the worst in these kind of people. Halucinogenics are not party drugs, they are for pychological exploration.
Some people just need to be shot!!!
LOL

Why would people document that which is illegal? Hmm....good point. By the way, have you ever read ANY GROW LOG HERE?

But yea, as far as having photos developed at a lab, and having said photos be of illegal activities.....morons.

Fair point - yet, cyberspace is an interesting thing - we can be anyone we want to be.... now if you take a photograph and show your face, your rooting it in the real world...

Yeah, but alas it seems that in this world there are more of your 'jobs worth' types out for a bit of power tripping - so they report stuff...

sad but true I feel

Haha, was it a picture that should have been reported?

And yea, I think these people just power trip sometimes, and hide it under the guise of "just doing their job", which is dumb ebcause you know that there are other less meaningless tasks which they neglect.

Belgrade man arrested after taking picture of marijuana plant
April 11, 2006 07:43 AM

Quote:

A Belgrade man faces drug charges after apparently taking at least one photo of a fully grown marijuana plant in his house, and having the film developed at a grocery store.

Forty-four-year-old Patrick Perin appeared in Justice Court in Bozeman yesterday, on charges of growing marijuana and possessing methamphetamine.

Justice of the Peace G-L Smith set his bail at 20-thousand dollars.

Court records say Perin dropped off some film to be developed on Friday. At least one of the pictures was of a marijuana plant. Perin's name and address were on the film envelope.

An employee of the grocery store contacted police.
