I'm sober too. It's like a whole other world!
Just kind of hanging out, house- and dog-sitting my mom's dog and house...
TV's on in the other room.. was watching "World of Tomorrow" on the Science Channel.
I'm not usually big on TV, but they have like every channel here.
It got a little boring when they randomly inserted a piece from Mythbusters in the middle of the show, completely unrelated to the subject matter. (Which is like, futuristic gadgets and concept cars and shit.)

I get easily tired of Mythbusters. The last one I watched was when they had to clean out a car filled with rotting, dead pigs to see if they could remove the odor.

Heh.. I just think the whole show sucks. I watched the first couple episodes and found it pretty dumb. Maybe if the stars were funnier I'd watch it anyway. But they're not, so I don't...
It's one of those shows that sounds great on paper...

My tongue and I have had an interesting relationship over the years. When I was a year old I ran around with keys in my mouth, fell down, and nearly severed it. This didn't stop me from getting it pierced twice. Once in the back of a pick up truck as an errant 16 yr old by an amateur piercer, and the second time when I was legally able to, at 18. Horrified my parents on both occasions, but I always got bored of it and took it out soon after.
Who here has piercings? I only have my ears pierced now, although I want my eyebrow done.

Damn I don't know if any of you remember me talking about my cat Blackie taking off last summer. Well she just turned up tonight. She has a little door to get in and out of the cellar, just went down there and found her laying at the bottom of the cellar steps. Must have known she was going to die. I have no idea where she's been but she made it home. Going to go bury my cat where I found her in my back yard 18 years ago and have a few drinks. Catch you guys later tonight.

I'm so sorry. I would be devestated if something happened to my kitties. That's such a touching story though, how she made it home to die. Very heart-wrenching. What a good kitty.

I had both ears pierced, but took them out recently to up the chances of getting a job. The holes are probably closed now.
I'll get them repierced eventually, probably. I'd like to get a couple plugs for 'em eventually, after I get them repierced.
I might do an eyebrow ring someday... not really interested in any others, simply because the only other piercings I like are labret and lip piercings, and my mouth heals poorly and slowly.
Well, maybe another in the upper ear someday. This is all speculation, considering I'm back down to 0 piercings right now. heh.

I really like how the labret looks...I might try and convince Kevin to let me get it done. But I'd have to cover it up for my job. There's a bather who has her nose pierced and she wears a little bandaid on the side of her nose all the time. It looks cute, that bandaid, actually.
Okay, I just asked and he said, "Sure, if you want to." Maybe next paycheck I'll go and get pins stuck in me.

You couldn't be any worse then the first guy who pierced my tongue. We drove out to the middle of nowhere and he cranked up the music until it blasted my ears, told me to get in the trunk, and then proceeded to pierce me while his hands were shaking like crazy. He did it crooked and it never really healed properly.

How late is everyone going to stay up? I've gotten into a happy, chipper mindstate now and would like to keep confabulating. At least until 11:30, my time.

Yeah, well, no pot + some caffeine will do that.

Just how picky of an eater are you??! Would you eat an octopus? I ate one a few weeks ago, it was actually pretty good! seafood.
I ate some sushi though and thought I was going to puke.
How anyone eats sushi without gagging...please give me your talents. I'd like to be able to see what's so good about it. Like pickles...I love the smell of pickles but I can't really eat them. So I just suck on them for awhile, maybe a nibble or two, but that's about it. And deviled eggs...I'm trying to like them too. Something about eating an egg like that appeals to my senses.

I'm not that picky anymore... I was really bad as a kid. I was raised on Mac'n'Cheese, pasta, peanut butter and jelly, and a few other choice items.
I've been working on broadening my horizons.
I tried Calamari once, fried.. didn't enjoy it at all. I can't stand the texture of MOST seafood, infact... and I don't like fishy tastes, which rules out another big chunk of the seafoods available.
I tried sushi once... my step dad recommended something that wouldn't taste like fish, basically... I doused it in the dipping sauce too. The texture definitely sucked, and I didn't try another bite. heh.
I like pickles, but only dills, and only the corner-cut ones that have a lot of skin.. I don't like the inside texture much.
I don't like most nuts... can't stand the texture. I've gotten used to eating peanuts, but only in things like a snickers bar or peanut M&Ms because I don't really like the taste alone.
What else... um. I don't like onions, peppers, or raw tomatoes (I like some forms of cooked tomato, such as tomato sauce on pasta or pizza (Minimal chunks!) and ketchup...)
I'm kind of a plain food guy basically... I like salt on almost everything. I don't like many spices, but enjoy most herbs...
The list goes on.

Kevin is the same way, he enjoys the "plain foods." I am more open to experimentation with food, but it has to taste somewhat pleasing in order for me to sample it again. Indian food is my favorite though, that or Vietnamese...
I REALLY don't like onions or tomatoes (although I'd like to like them)...and I have been wanting to try insect gourmet food, believe it or not. Maybe because they look like they'd be good munchies.
Mr. Wax...what you said tickled my funny bone. Who knows!

I don't like coffee either.. I drink it occasionally, with so much sugar and cream it's basically liquified coffee ice cream. Mmmm.
Also: French Vanilla was the first kind I liked... I think it just has a lot of extra sweetener added. I've learned I can just add tons of sugar to any coffee for the same effect. :P

I'll give it a try before adding cream next time. Can't say I've ever given it a shot.
My step dad got this new cup-at-a-time machine that makes FUCKING AWESOME coffee, apparently. (That's what he and my mom say anyway... to me it just tastes like coffee. They're connasuiers.. or however you spell that word.)

Yeah, Cream's pretty good. (The clapton variety) But personally, I enjoy his unplugged album. I'm not way into Clapton though... I just like his modern stuff which is less "disco" and more mellow.

Hey, if there was one piece of music you'd love every person in the entire world to listen to once...
...what would it be?
Like, if there was a global loudspeaker blaring out music and sound for every ear on the planet.
I haven't listened to enough music to know for myself, personally. Hopefully this will be remedied.

Well, I would say Shinedown's cover of "Simple Man"... except it actually WAS blared across the nation for everyone to hear, since it was a single.
I absolutely love that performance of that song though... it embodies the core reasons why I love my mother so much, and his voice carries it so well.
I'd have to think long and hard to come up with another...

I'm glad it's peaked your interest! Mr. Webley wouldn't have been my style at all either, but after seeing him live, I can't help but be a huge huge fan of his work. He's a born entertainer, and his pirate shantys captivate the soul.

What's cool is that the guy tours the US, and then he tours Russia. When asked what Russia was like, he replied, "Weird."

Oh, my bad dude. Soulseek is a file-sharing program.
I don't know where else you'd find jason's stuff. He's a local act from here in Seattle. I had the pleasure of seeing him live before I'd heard any of his songs, and it was mind-blowing. A fantastical party, as my cousin put it.
www.jasonwebley.com
www.slsknet.org (it's a small program, easy to install).. if you do get soulseek, PM me and I'll guide you through how to find me. =]

The low-point (I guess..if that is a "low-point"..I'm lucky) in my drug use was sitting in my room with my buddy, chugging bottles of cough syrup, when my roomate and his 10 year old sister walked in unexpectedly.

Goddamn that was awkward

My brain healed. I think I turned drugs into a hobby back then becuase I had shit to do.
YUeah I pushed it to far and got lucky that I didn't get hurt. I am trying to "ween" myself out of the drug culture but it's hard cause I feel so comfortable in it.

in high school, I left an AIM convo up on my dad's comp that discussed me and my friend buying "vials" and selling them at my other friend's work.."That is some serious shit in those vials..one hit and you're fucking GONE"
Not once did I mention that it was just really good weed..my dad thought I was buying/smoking/selling crack

Haha. My mom actually knows that I've smoked crack. Rather embarassing.
I don't smoke crack like it's a choice, really. More just when I'm with the wrong crowd on accident and fear getting shot otherwise. Luckily, that hasnt happened in around two years.

In high school I got expelled 3 times does that count? First time ALOT of klonopins (Had 70 on me and ingested about 10 mgs of it). Second time was in an alternative school 4 weeks after the first time left some shit in my car and some bitch ratted on me. The third time I was buying pills and some kid saw and ratted, I took the pills but I also had pot on me so....
