Then they started drinking. Or smoking. Or 'shrooming. Seriously, can we get a bracketoxicology report on the committee members? Or maybe they just didn't have access to televisions over the weekend. I'm sure there's some explanation for the spate of dubious seedings and cruel snubs delivered by the committee.

There was a dude that dosed acid and ended up having to pitch that day in the major leagues, not sure what the circumstances were. But he did pitch a perfect game.

A fifteen seed got into the Elite 8. 12 seeds were undefeated. The winner of the PAC 12 was a 12 seed. Yes, the selection committee might have been shrooming.
