Non-chunky soups?

I have a hard time eating soup with any chunks in it. My favorite types of soup have been sort of the creamy or smooth broth sort, like brocolli cheese, and some sort of Indian soup that is made from nuts, spices and tomato.
Whenever I eat chicken noodle soup for example, I have to strain it. It's just that for some reason the chunks of whatever in the soup really squick me out.
Unfortunately, most soups have chunks of meat/vegatables in it. I don't often find many soups that are just that smooth, delicious texture that I love with soups.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a new chunk-less soup for me to try.
Thanks in advance...

it's so nice....whisk attachment, processor attachment, but you can use the blender for all sorts of stuff.
specific to this thread...make ANY chunky soup and puree it with the hand blender.
good creamy soups...mmmmmm

asparagus soup is heavenly - plant a few asparagus beds in your veggie garden just for the soup it can make.
get a pan of decent chicken stock on the boil - its far superior to stock cubes - and simmer an onion and a stick of celery, roughly chopped, for about half an hour. strain. throw in a load of asparagus spears - 5 or 6 for each person you are cooking for. you can use the tough, stringy stalks as well, because the soup is going to be blended and passed. for added bulk, chuck in any odds and ends of green veg that might be festering in your fridge - brocolli, green beans, etc. boil for another half hour, then pulverise it with a hand blender untill very smooth. pass through a sieve (it doesnt have to be a super fine mesh - anything will do), forcing through all the non-fibrous material with a ladel. pepper, lots. lots of pepper. stir in a bit of double cream. pour into bowls, and float a wee slice of goats cheese on top. et voila, my favourite soup. rich and creamy, and no lumps.

Brocoli soup is delicious, and ridiculously easy to make. Boil up some brocoli in a pan of water. When it's done, put the brocoli in a blender and blend, gradually adding water from the pan you boiled the brocoli in 'till it reaches a consistency you like.
Add a pinch of salt, and bam, you've got your soup

french onion isn't chunkY?? pieces of onion, plus the bread and cheese?? anyway, how bout a nice lobster/crab bisque? pureed veggie soups (squash, carrot, mushroom...) vichyssoise, consomme. maybe you would like the chunks better if they weren't overcooked??
