My B+ didn't colonize half the jars, and then only fruited on one. It made me sad, but it was probably my inexperienced self messing everything up. I know a bit more now, but I haven't tried B+ again. Sometime soon though.

I myself had many more fuck ups/contams then successes... but I guess I should go ahead and give an answer anyways...
As far as potency goes... PF classic was like a tease for me and my friend... it was ok but we waited for the classic part to kick in all night.... it NEVER kicked in... I guess sometimes a name is just a name cuz the only thing classic about it was it was classicly bad..
I guess the same holds true for KSSS (theres nothing super about it)
My substrate was just straw and a simple casing... this could be the reason why....
Thanks for participating on this post!

You start to worry that something is wrong cause they have matured a little short, then you realize what they weigh. Amazingly thick and meaty!
and KSSS is the favorite as far as the trip goes amongst many i know.
Worst strain though... ? None, but John Allen was the least potent.
happy trails ~Pcub
I agree with Pcub here. I had good colonization times, fat-as-hell fruits and decent pinsets. Maybe it's just some kind of bad genetics going around? As far as potency went, I never tried them myself, but my buddy that I grew these for (trips often) said he had a good ride, though not a very visual one.

obviously you dont know who the kreeper is then, he renames strains that are common and charges $100.00 for 1 syringe!!! The guy deserves to get fucked just like the people he bends over.

ive only worked with PESA, but that strain colonizes fast and is potent for me. from lc to fruit is about 2 weeks for me, which is average time. i think a lot of the speculation here could be due to the fact that strains may prefer certain conditions etc. now if a strain is mentioned repeatedly (ksss it appears) then i would say chances are that strain either sucks, or is just very hard to grow.

I dont like OI.
The greatest strain ive used is Brazil. Fast colonizer, great fruiter, potent. The last grow I did i didnt even use a casing layer and I had an even plane of mushrooms.

The chunk taken out was a bit too fermented to colonize. Realy all the rest of it was fermented to hell too but it still worked out.

I don't know if this is the case, my friend. I did get my first batch of KSSS from a vendor, and colonization progressed slowly. I thought my technique was faulty, so I wanted to try this strain again. My second syringe came from you. I PC'd 10 quarts and 6 pint jars of WBS, and noc'd some of them up with your KSSS syringe, some with I8an8th's PR's, and the rest with Mycoprog's Dixieland. Now 2 weeks later, the PR's are done, the Dixieland will be done in a few days, and SOME of the KSSS are MAYBE 1/10th completed. I'm sure it was a viable syringe, especially coming from you. All of the jars were PC'd together, noc'd up at the same time, and have shared the same incubator. I don't know, maybe me and that strain just don't mesh well.
