take a small piece of broken glass (sterile), drop it in, add sterile water, cap and agitate

I noticed the same thing. But, im still trying to get passed the "making the sryinge" part. I wiped my jars with alcohol and a paper towel, and my syringes appeared to have paper towel particles in them afterward

thats one of the problems with having prints in the bottom of jars... they can be a pain in the ass to get off the bottom of the jar when making inoculant.
I like using Alum foil or glass microscope slides.

I just use 3x5cards cut in half. "sealed" in packing tape. cleaned with rubbing booze..put in glow box and make my print. when its done i put in a ziplock bag(cleaned in same manner) the first time i did this was with hawaiian. and i just cased those, and made another sryinge. I like this one because you can put use the neddle to scrap em off. i then shot clean water from syringe into bag(keeping spore card away from water)then suck back up. has worked for me about four times so far.

this happens to me also!! ive woundered how to fix that. just always wipe from the neddle base to the top in one motion then use lighter to burn away any fibers.
