Goosebumps, Motherfuckers!

I'm in the process of moving and just came across a box with all my Goosebump books from grade school. I actually can't believe I still have them, but just glancing at them I have 1-51...hell yeah I'm awesome!
Anybody else collect them as a kid?
Anybody have a favorite? Mine was "Be Careful What You Wish For", which was about a girl who made wishes and they all turned out the exact opposite of what she actually wished for. It was the first book that actually got me to think about things differently...sounds lame as fuck, but shit, I was in 3rd grade! I also loved the "Night of the Living Dummy" ones, I think there where 3-4 of them.
Come on now, who was one of the COOL kids??

They are long gone now though.

There were a few Goosebumps collection books that came out.
I made a thread about them but no one cared.

The only one about flying that I can see is called "Why I'm Afraid of Bees."
About a kid who wants to exchange bodies but accidently exchanges with a bee.

Be careful for what you wish for was the first one I read. I thought it was really lame how she turned into a stork at the end.
My favourite one was 'The Ghost Next Door'. I'm convinced to this day that M Night Shamaylan bit its plot for the sixth sense.

i remember back in elementary school we had book fairs where we would take in all our old books and get new ones. and i was walking down the hallway with a bunch of my goosbumps because i was going to trade them in, and a friend stopped me and convinced me to change my mind. i still have all of them (probably a good 30 or so). i used to go to the bookstore with my mom after school, get one, and have it read before i went to bed that night.
oh man, this brings up some memories. thanks

As far as reading is concerned, I've always been ahead of most.
So I was collecting Koontz back in grade school. So it's not that different in my case.
Now, the babysitter's club...a lot of girls were probably reading those at about the time you were reading goosbumbs.

Ahhh... the fantastic feeling of nostalgia. My favorite (that I can remember) was the haunted amusement park. I thought all the rides sounded like great fun. The one where the kids' dad was a plant was cool too.
Remember the ones where you got to choose your own adventure?

I remember that one. I think it was a short story. He went to some party at a beach house, and everyone was making fun of him. He found a book on how to fly, and went to school to race his arch-enemy, but his arch-enemy had learned to fly also.

Attack of the mutant was badass

'Ghost beach', 'welcome to dead house'
'The horror at camp jellyjam' had the best cover

my all-time favor of the regular series was 'The Headless Ghost', probably read it 20 times

I also loved 'How I Got My Shrunken Head'

But my absolute favorites were in the 'Give Yourself Goosebumps' series

But my all-time favorite, (along with the headless ghost) was

The Night of the Living Dummy covers were always good.

Slappy was the shit.

I loved the ones where they were running around in the pyramids. I think there was 2 or three of them.

I liked all of the Monster Bloods (1-4), seems like the ones I remember more than any of them. Some kid buys some slime at a weird store and shit goes down!

The first time I read that book I was probably 6 or 7 years old and it seriously gave me nightmares for about a week; it was always the same dream over and over again with me sitting watching TV and then glancing over my shoulder to see this ventriloquist dummy walking towards me looking really fucking creepy.
Great books though.
