Yeah supposedly its binary code or ASCII code. I think what it says is beware of leaders bearing false promises, believe, and someother stuff......
Freaky shit if its real.

Just imagine the poor farmers who have to deal with these hooligans(whether from this world or another) messing up their crops. I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty pissed.

Theres a cool show sometimes, on one of the channels like Nat Geograpic, or Discovery, where some young guys are using planks, and rope showing how they make the circles, and they use tripods to use to lay out the patterns.

if the aliens go to the trouble of making crop circles why not just go hover around the CNN building for a while then leave?

Trespassing laws aside, there is usually no damage done to the crops, because stems are bent but not broken. Damaged crops are a sign of inexperienced amateurs.
Also, the message contained in the disc the alien is holding (which is in binary) has been decoded using the standard 128 character ASCII set. It reads:
"Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. EELRIJUE. There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND)" [sic]
Pretty impressive stuff, especially if done with just boards and string.

I do believe there are some crop circles which are easily attributed to some people with a weird hobby. But, let's face it, there are many other crop circles where things are not that easy to explain.

I'm open to all possibilities, no matter how absurd they may be to some people.
A few years ago i believed they were all made by non-earthly entities. Then i realized that there's significant evidence that even some of the most complex circles can be done by humans, in the dark, and within a short period of time, if they smart and skilled enough. These days I tend to draw conclusions based on each individual design. There are many factors to weigh in. I realized you can't just lump them all together into "man-made" or "not man-made." Some are and some seem anything but!
Anyone who enjoys the mystery behind crop circles, no matter what you currently believe about them, should check out the cropcircleconnector forums. There's some really good well-balanced discussion there.

Personally, if there's anything I have great faith in, it's human ingenuity. But I'll have to look more into the whole radiation issue. I do know that the electrical charge issues are easily explainable, though.

3.7.3: Are crop circles radioactive?
This is a claim that has received wide circulation in UFO/cerealogy circles (pardon the pun). It is also untrue. Examination of the data from spectral analyses of soil taken from crop circles has shown that there were no readings above the normal background levels. The proponents of this claim are debating this, however. One independant lab study was obtained showing a significant increase in radioactivity, but it was later withdrawn when a computational error was discovered. The retraction didn't receive as wide a circulation as the intial favourable finding did among cerealogists.
