Jiffy Mix question

Do you wet down the jiffy mix befor you add it as a caseing? Or do you just use it as is and mist it daily or what I havent seen anything about this yet.

I think it needs to be at field capacity before you use it. Then mist to glistening.

So soak and strain to aquire field copasity? It wouldnt hurt to PC after would it my bag has tears in it and since I am caseing poo and not wanting germ contams would that be ok?

I think you would only need to microwave it 3 min on high and a rest...repeat 3 times. Then allow to cool over night.

I don't think it will hurt, but I also don't think it's needed for this particular situation.

PC'ing is normal, microwaving is just a shortcut. Either way, get it to field capacity, not soaked, then PC. It shouldn't be really wet. You can get the moisture right later on by misting it, which you will likely be doing often anyway.
