will this millet work

i live about 5-10 minutes from a feed store. i called them up and they said they carried millet $10 for 25 lbs. or .40 cents a pound....there is also millet at the health store for about 2-3 bucks for 2 lbs....will the one from the feed store work as good? do feed stores have any chemicals in the millet? thanx

U gotta use unhulled millet, otherwise hulled millet will stick together when u pc it!

I recommend not using a millet with BirdKote on it, its an additive. But it will say on the package whether or not it is coated. And the older the millet is, then the more organisms and bacteria it can host. The grain store more than likely has fresher millet than the health food store. Just dont forget to pc it!!!
