My 7 qrt jars are fully colonized and the poo wont be here for a week. Is it ok to just leave them in the incubator till it arives? What should I do?

take them out of the incubator and just leave them in the dark someplace. an extra week wont bother them.

make sure wherever you put them, keep the temp at least at 75 or so. A week is no problem

I'd take them out of the incubator...
and put them back into the boxes that the jars came in.
If you kept them in the incubator...
they will continue to colonize and the substrate will become really hard.
making them harder to get the colonized grains out.

This jar was stored in a fridge since 11/30/05. (in a plastic bag, in a light tight box)

A fridge won't hurt them but leaving them incubating will as Road said will leave them much more tightly knitted together making removal harder still shouldn't be that bad. Leaving them in the box they came in is a good idea especially if you have an area to store it thats say in the lower to mid 60's ideally. This should slow down growth without stalling the myc to much.

Bump What should I hit my jar against? Or should I use a knife to break it up when I want to take it out?
