I've been reading much about Nibiru, the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Annunaki, and what not. Anyone read any of the Earth Chronicle books by Zecharia Sitchin? If so, have any recommendation on which is better? yeah, i know, i should proly just start at the first one, the 12th Planet. thanks

How, as another example, could their symbol of the entwined serpents, that we still use today to denote medicine and healing and biology, be 6,000 years ago, the symbol of Enki, who engaged in genetic engineering to bring about the Adam? That was a symbol of the DNA, the double helix of DNA.
Some snakes intertwine while mating - and if anything, it was a symbol of fertility. That is a hell of a leap to say that the Sumerians knew of the structure of DNA because of a depiction of a common mating ritual. He does these sort of unconvincing hyperleaps of "reason" throughout his writings.

Then there is the difference in their technological advancement which
enables them not only to travel in space, and to have traveled half a
million years ago, but also to revive the dead and do other things which in
biblical times were considered miracles.
This is called science fiction. There is no text which supports any space travel.

The Sumerians had immense knowledge. They knew about Uranus and Neptune and described them and they knew about Pluto. They were proficient in mathematics and, in many respects, their knowledge surpassed modem times.
Surpassed modern times? In what field? They built better chariots than we do today?

Where are the fossils of the giants that he described? On and on the speculation gets more and more bizarre and unsupported.

I agree.

Earth's fossil record is far from complete, I haven't read about the giants.

They knew about Pluto, yet it was "discovered" in 1930.

I don't think much of what he says has sufficient evidence, but some things may be true, some may never be known.

There are alot of things about the human race that baffle us.

I haven't read any of his books, but I remember seeing a programme on TV about him. It showed you pictures of the tablets that had the depictions and descriptions of the solar system on them. For instance they knew the size of all the planets in our solar system, they also knew what they had on their surfaces...ie. they knew that mars had water on it's surface. If I remember correctly he gave this information to NASA who then confirmed it, they found that Mars did indeed once have a water on it's surface. And all sorts of other amazing coincidences like this.

Have you any thoughts on this swami?

Also, about the giants. You might want to look Here , and then post your opinion. It's not the greatest link but it does have some basic info.

Also, look at this pic. It looks like a giant to me.

Most programs of that type were designed to titillate and were quite biased towards fantasy ("In Search Of...", "Alien Autopsy" The Bermuda Triangle", etc.). I did not see the show that you mention, but would bet heavily there was no rebuttal.

It would be easy to confirm. Please point to the ancient text that shows the size of the planets.

I believe this skull is a plaster of paris, but if you can show me that it is accepted by archaeologists / anthropologists to be a genuine article, then we can continue the discussion. Anyone can fabricate something and post it on a website.

Actually Swami, I've seen similar skulls accepted as authentic. They were a result of such things as hydroencephalitis (water on the brain), tumors, or being intentionally misshapen during developement (such as what was done by the Flathead Indians).

The jaw bone of that particular one was big enough that it could be placed over that of a normal adult human's. No binding or anything like that could actually make the jaw bone bigger. This definately belonged to a "giant", human or not.
