Some of his stuff was taken from Ursula K Guin's novels if I'm not mistaken.
Which gets me thinkin'.... anyone ever tried reading a book while tripping?

I tripped on 2c-e and watched Yellow Submarine. Probably the most pleasing thing my eyes had ever seen at the time.

yellow submarine the wall akira princess mononoke most if not all science/earth/life documentaries almost any childrens cartoon movies any music inspired or concert videos Hitch Hikers guide to the galaxy Baraka
Typically i don't like most movies with real actors while tripping, but any comedy by Judd apatow or will ferrel + friends, i recently found out works great. Basically while watching this everyone has seen it so it works as a good medium to have discussions and tons of laughs in between your conversation.

Also agree with this. Amazing trip on mushrooms to that film.
That damn movie exhausted me emotionally! I saw it tripping on 3 hits of liquid.. I cried, cried, cried. I cried for happiness, I cried for sadness, I cried for anger. Fuck! that was AMAZING. After I came down, I felt like I had been hit by a train, (emotionally). That's a must see movie! Be prepared!

You guys are doing a good job listing good tripping movies. I second the following movies: Ice Age The Wall Pulse (Pink Floyd concert)
And a movie nobody has mentioned yet: Freddy Got Fingered (some may disagree with this but this movie was hilarious to me when I was on acid, couldn't stop laughing)

Why do people think the wall is a good tripping movie. I saw it sober, and it freaked me the fuck out. I couldn't even imagine it tripping.

It has great music and alot of emotion that alot of people can relate too, perhaps this is why some people do not like it tripping. Thats my opinion anyways, i would imagine these deep emotions could stir up your own personal feelings regarding them. Personally it blew me away, the first time i ever saw it was on mushrooms and i had no idea what to expect. It's not something i would always do but it was definately interesting. Seeing the Australian Pink Floyd show perform the complete album of the wall with costumes, lazers and video while on molly was amazing too.

I understand competley, i just think the movie was a little too emotional for my liking. I like my trips to be all "puppies and rainbows."

The first time I watched it I was on mushrooms.
I was surprised at how shitty it was.
Visually one of the worst movies i've ever seen, definetly not made for a psychedelic experience in my opinion.
I Hate that movie, but I Love pink floyd. They could not have disapointed me anymore.
I was very pissed that I wasted a trip on that movie.
Yellow submarine on the other hand is a GREAT movie made from a Band.

I report what it says. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand."

My #1 movie for the experience.
If I am ever going into a rough experience I just put this movie on and all is well.:)
