Just off the top of my head, I am thinking "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "The Doors," "Wizards" (animated), "The Wall," "Donnie Darko," and that's all I can think of right now. Once you start trippin, everything will become a tripped-out movie. Peace

For entertainment and visuals I would highly recommend the extended edition of the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. What a fantastic movie to trip to. Awesome visuals, great story line, and score that is just unsurpassed in my opinion. I always get nice warm fuzzies when watching this movie.
I also prefer good humor as well and computer animation such as Shrek, Shrek 2, Ice Age, and Antz. Good tripping movies don't always have to mean trippy story. I used to routinely watch all kinds of movies just to set the mood. The Mummy movies are also great to watch while tripping.

Wizards is a whacked out movie man, i was high on acid for the first time and my roomate randomley busted it out. I totally thought it was some kids movie but WOW!!!! definetly worth watching. Other favourites of mine are alice in wonderland(cartoon is good but get the live action one for a real trip), and Wizard of OZ(Need to have dark side of the moon playing too though, start at the 3rd roar of the lion!)At times it matches up so well you think it is the actual sound track of the film.

That being said - I found the new Willy Wonka movie to be an amazing movie to trip to. Saw it on 3G of mush on the Imax and /wow/ - amazing.
I also really enjoy the Harry Potter series while tripping - although truth be told, I found the last one to get a bit scary while shrooming. *laugh*

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
this is if you are planning on being able to read subtitles or know japanese, actually at this point there maybe an english dubbed version.
best computer animation I've ever seen. it's got a GREAT soundtrack too. This is all of course in addition to a kick ass story.

the combo of simulated hallucination in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas combined with actual hallucinations gets kinda cool too.

As Terence McKenna said, psilocybin is the perfect Sci-fi drug. I'd highly recommed the genre; just no "geek" sci-fi like the Sci-Fi channel shows. Movies like Pi, 2001 (and alot of Kubricks stuff), etc are awesome.
