Help a Newbie w/ fruiting

I am in the process of my first grow (golden teachers) and have run into a snag. I birthed, dunked, and cold shocked my cakes about a week ago. The cakes took an unusually long time to colonize, two months. The cakes are in my fruiting chamber @ about 85% humidity and 80 degrees. The problem is i have not seen any pins yet. This leads me to several questions. Since these cakes took so long to colonize could something have happened that would cause them not to fruit? How long should i wait before i scrap this project and start over? How long is the longest any one has had to wait for their cakes to fruit? Any help would be appreciated.

Cakes require humidity above 92% to pin. The best temperatures for pinning are in the mid 70's.
Once you fix that, just remember to fan reqularly and give them time.

Also what temp were you incubating at that it took 2 months?

yea defiently, the incubator should have an temp of 80-86. for pinning with cakes you want to have a RH level of close to 100% and the outside level at 60-70 degrees.

Wow I'd say close but your way off bro although incubating suggestion is close optimum is 84-86F. and fruiting temps should be 74-77F. optimally. You'll get it soon enough RR50
