When should I begin to worry that nothing is growing?

This is my 3rd time to grow (first two were very successful) and I have not grown in a long time. My question is: I put spores into honey water and allowed it to sit for 3 days (I could see very small white things floating around) Then inoculated PF jars 3 days ago. I have not seen any growth yet. When should I begin to get worried that my spores were not viable or I made a mistake?

If you go two weeks with no growth odds are that nothing will happen.
I let my LC colonize until it is pretty thick with mycelium, Kinda looks like Lemonade with pulp.

I'm not sure you left the LC long enough to be all that fantastic. I think the longer you let her grow, the better the quality and amount of LC you get in a syringe.

Alright, Thanks guys. Is there a chance there are enough spores in there to colonize anyways? I put a whole spore print into a pint jar filled with honey h2o.

Chances are, you are going to grow some mycelium, but it may be longer than it would be with a fully developed LC.

wow a whole sporeprint into an LC? That's a bit overkill mate, think of all the substrains fighting it out right now lol. Its like WW3 inside your culture bottle
Pretty sound advice tho, keep giving it a good shake once a day and watch it for a week or two, if nothing noticable happens, start over. Id add on a little to it and say start one now, if the other one fails you should have one almost ready to go, if the other one works then you have 2 bottles and still make out nice in the end. It's a win/win situation man, can't go wrong
