WBS Strainage

After you soak/simmmer....how do you all strain large amounts of WBS? Like 15/30 lbs? I built this pvc contraption to go over my bath tub using screen I bought at Home Depot...just wondering how you all did it. I have like 12 super collanders I got at walmart awhile ago...but I have been having moisture problems ever since. I think I am putting to much in them. Well anyway...any input will be appreciated!

Not sure how you can go wrong with an almost foolproof tek. When you simmer, try not cooking them, just start it at low heat and keep it there. When you empty into the strainer, do it while blasting with cold water. And give those colanders a little stir. Strain for 25 minutes or so.

I don't think many people here do 30 lbs at a crak. That's pretty impressive! How do you PC all that?

Maybe your problem is globbing after you PC? Try taking out the jars and shaking them while still warm. Better yet, move to myco bags and just mash the wbs with your hands.

You will figure it out. GL

There was a post fairly recently that showed one of those little wire mesh garbage cans being used for drainage and pasturization.
