Well two of my six jars have started to pin and I was wondering if I should start to fruit them tommorow. If I do start to fruit them can I use the same rubbermaid containers that I use for incubation? Also I'm not to sure on wheather or not I have to water down the perlite before i put the cakes onto of it.

ya you can use your TiT (im assuming thats what your using) youll just have to drop the temp down 10 degrees. and for the perlite place it in a strainer and spray it down till its all wet and all the dust is wrinsted off it then place a 1 -2" layer in the bottom of your TiT. make sure that you have NO STANDING WATER in the bottom of your tub, if so just add more perlite and mix it by hand. dont set the cakes directly ontop of the perlite, either put the lid down or a square of tin foil. and fan 3-5 times a day. with 12/12 lighting. and everythign should be fine:) hope that helps ya some.

How should I prepare the perlite? Should I pour some into a bucket, add water, and then somehow drain the water out? Also for lighting do I use my 15 watt black light or use regular room lighting for 12 hours a day?

VolcomStone; just use normal room lighting. Blue lights are said to be the best for giving your shrooms lighting and thus direction since the wavelength is shorter with blue light than with red~ but remember that mushrooms are photosensitive but not phototrophic.
