Xanax is prescribed in a veterinary setting pretty often for pets that are too "excitable". Of course, wheither this is ethical is beyond the scope of this thread.

I'd give my dog some xanax (dosage scaled down of course) for long car rides and he seemed to enjoy it more than the anxiety he got from riding in a car.

yeah my friends dog has a script for Valium due to seizures and Ive seen him give the dog a whole xanax bar because it was to hyper.

Cats are sneaky little fiends. My cousins cat has on many times sniffed lines and we taught it to stick it's head in the bong to take hits. It was a wonderful cat.

He was never the same after the shroom incident though. He just died a little over a year ago, he was like five or six years old.
