Paper sporeprints.... wet/bury 'em ;)
    #5377932 - 03/08/06 03:21 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

I had a print I had scraped to make some syringes LC's, there was still a light covering of spores left, not wanting to just throw the print out due to it's "unsterility" I stuck it underneath the poo toplayer on my compost (I top my compost with pea-straw/cow-manure/lime/gypsum every once in awhile).

Look what happened...

Hah, sweet. Maybe you should transfer some of that beneath a bush or something so it doesn't get lost in the compost pile. You could have a mini outdoor flush.

Actually, it seems to be "moving" i.e. - getting bigger, but only towards the shaded areas (I belive it wants moisture).

I watered the heap just a bit ago, will update with new pics tomorrow if there's a decent enough change... this "patch" went from about 1.5cm x 1.5cm to the size it is now overnight, will be seeing me very excited if it continues to grow... just hope it actually FRUITS
