growth on casing

i went to look at my casing today and noticed that their is a Little bit of growth coming though my casing. i am stoked. should i wait to put them in the f/c? or let it get more growth to it?

I use a peat/verm/oyster shell casing layer. I wait for 10% of the casing layer to be colonized. I lightly patch (1/16") the myc that's poking through. Give it a GOOD misting, and toss it in the FC. Always gives me a good, even pinset. Might want to go a little earlier when using coir, since it has a tendency to overlay. Most of your pinset is based on the evenness of your original casing layer, so always try to get it as uniform as possible. :wink::thumbup:

i am using the same tech. i am going to wait then. where did you get your oyster shells the only thing i could find was this thing that the birds peck at..
