I no longer have the mushroom cultivator by paul stammetts, but I remember reading about beneficial bacteria. There was also a source in the back of the book, but i believe they only sold to "private organizations". Is there any organization or business that sells cultures of these beneficial bacteria? My Idea is to make liquid cultures and inject them into my watering bottles and water the casing right after I apply the casing layer. I assume I'm in the right place for this kind of question, as I have seen many interesting experiments and intriguing questions.
Thanks

i have heard mushrooms grow well with pseudomonas. if your into growing cannabis and have ever heard of advanced nutrients, they sell a product called "tarantula". basically its for growing a massive root system and introducing benificial bacteria into the soil. not sure if this would work for mushrooms but heres the link anyway.

Depending on the purity of the desired culture, one could also follow the "acetone tek" or the "vodka tek" and culture psuedomonas on inert media such as verm. Not much else grows on ethyl alcohol or acetone, so it's an incredibly specific substrate, and the bacteria are ubiquitous enough that simple exposure to air should be sufficient to inoculate, or the incorporation of peat into the media would surely supply a starter culture.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.
