Newbie grower seeking advice on his strains of choice.

Hello all. :-)
I am extremely experienced in growing edible fruits, vegetables, and various smokeable herbs, including salvia divinorum.
I am looking for an absolute n00b strain, as I have never attempted to cultivate mushrooms. I also will, once I have gotten the grasp of it, probably try to cultivate some shitakes.
I have been lurking for months now, and have decided on the pf tek method. I have educated myself as best I can, and have read nearly everything I can get my hands on.
The strains I am considering are Ecuadorian and B+ Strain. According to what I have read, these seem to be relatively simple to grow for the beginner using the pf tek method, and also seem to be relatively easy to get prints.
Anyone out there who has had practical experience with these strains able to give me an idea of their difficulty level for the new grower?
Also, are there other strains you might suggest?
Thank you all very much, this is a great community :-)

well first I might say, that talking about strains is not anywhere NEARLY THE SAME as talking about SPECIES...they are all cubnesis...some are more domestic than others and are more tolerable to inexperience, B+ is a prime example..VERY domesticated...almost to a point of over-domestication..but to answer your question just get a METHOD down, not neccesarily a strain but...B+ is most common for newer growers, takes molestation and environment more hardily without ill effects...*ADVICE FOR ALL NEW GROWERS* PLEASE ACCESS THE ABUNDANT AMOUNT OF INFORMATION AT YOUR DISPOSAL BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS, IF YOU NEED HELP PM ME AND I MIGHT BE ABLE TO POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AMONGST THIS LARE DATABASE.

Any Cubensis will do you good, ANY it really maters how you grow them.

But I just would read about them and pick what sounds interesting.....

Thanks guys for such a fast response. PF Tek is the method i am choosing, with brown rice flour that I will mill myself. I have alot of experience canning vegetables so I am pretty handy with a pressure cooker. I think b+ is what I will go for, as it seems to be the hardiest. Sort of like the northern lights #5 of cubenesis.
I should mention that I live in Florida, which means quite a bit of humidity. I am a chef, and I know I have to make adjustments when I cook for the high levels of humidity here (especially when making pastries.) So I am hoping that everything turns out alright. I have all the equipment I need save for the spores... So its now just a matter of getting those. :-)

I have found that Koh Samui are pretty easy for a beginner.... like myself

if you have been lurking for months now and have a presser cooker, have a job (witch requires reading and following directions and a good memory), and aren't living with mommy and daddy, you want to latter grow other mushrooms, DUDE take the plunge, get the mushroom cultivator its a great book, and make grain spawn and grow in trays its not really any harder and its so so much better. and gram for gram is way way easyer in the long run plus bulk rye - wbs and bales of peat and straw - horse poop are way cheaper than rice flower and vermiculite cakes

pretty much, b+ is the standard noob strain and is usually commended for its ease to grow..."fruiting in such and such temperature" and all that other advertisement lingo...but basically from what ive read theyre all pretty closely related(theyre all the same species anyways, p cubensis, so were talking just little variants in the genetics(at least thats my assuming take on it)
