does anyone know if mirro are decent and good enough till i raise enough funds to spend a couple hundo on an AA? also, does it make any sense to get the 22 quart for $15 more when i only want to do 7 and they both fit 7 quart jars?

I used a mirro and i have no complaints. Theyre adjustable to 5, 10, and 15psi by removing parts of the weight on top. Good decently priced cooker imo

The mirro works just fine, i use the 22 qt model myself. But if you can get the presto at walmart for less money then the mirro online, go buy it, there's really not much of a difference between the two (and the guage is a nice bonus).

Yep that shipping can make the difference. I have used several Mirro's over the years with no problems besides changing gaskets.
