Quick incubator question.....

Afoaf always puts his jar in a TIT to incubate. However, some of the times....he usaully has a bout 3-4 out of 10 jars get contaminated.....DO you think that when this happens..this causes contamination to be realeased into the incubator? Thus, answering WHY there is always some contaminated ones? (keep in mind, each jar is sealed, and has a verm layer on top (BRF AND VERM STYLE))
Also, this same question applies to his FC. Often he gets 1 out of 4 casings contaminated...and has NEVER cleaned his FC (about 4-7 months now). Its NOT dirty physically, but hes starting to think that the releasel of a contamination from the trich could be living in the FC thus causing contams...
What is your opinion on this guys? thanks

Since some of your jars do not get contaminated and it is not the majority that do, this suggests that your substrate at this point is sterile. That eliminates one potential source.
The next most likely cause imo would be technique. Examine your technique, are their ways you could be innoculating in a cleaner way? Could your sterilization or pastuerization be better? Go through some similar teks by the old hands and see if you might be skipping a sterilization or cleaning step of some kind. HC came up with a brilliant idea of cutting a piece of sponge, soaking it in alcohol, and inserting your needle into that sponge once you have heat treated it... absolutely fucking brilliant. The sponge moves out of your way when you insert it and the needle is cleaned as you remove it. A little alcohol comes out of the sponge during insertion and cleans your tyvek and or coffee filters... brilliant I say!
The second most likely cause imo are transports. Find and eliminate transports. Wet tyvek, coffee filters hanging off of your jars, wet polyfil sprouting out of your jars into the air are all potential transports. Find them, minimize them.
3rd most likely cause imo is a dirty environment. Just the fact that you're concerned about your chambers is reason enough to clean them. Why not right? Use a 10% bleach 90% water solution in a spray bottle. Hose everything down with it and wipe it up with freshly laundered rags. Then get yourself and other people and pets away from the area until the clorine gas is gone.
Everytime you reuse a piece of equipment it should be cleaned. Why not? It takes an hour to clean all of your equipment and can save you alot of headaches. 1 month or so to grow right? Why waste the month to save an hour?
Just some ideas I'm throwing out there. I'm a noob mushie cultivator but an old hand at beer brewing(controlled growth of bacteria). Same factors need to be taken into consideration.
