ok my setup shall be

2 aquariums 1 is 15inch - 10 inch other is 2ft-1ft (about)

im gana put 12 1/2 pint cakes in each one

cased with 4 inch damp verm on bottom of small aquar. and 2 inch on big aquar

and cover the aquar. casing with plastic and a ruberband

leave in dark intill 40% of surface has overgrown then give it a few
hours of light (black light) per day

thay will be in a box with the light, so the light will keep the temp in the box up.
i need to get a therm. to be shur the temp doesnt go to high, 85F is the highest it can go rite.?

To answer your question, maybe yes maybe no. With mushrooms you never know till you try. Just make sure the sides of the aquarium are blacked out. Are you crumbling your cakes? I recently tried sliceing my cakes like a potato.
That might help since you have a big area to cover. Hope I helped even if it wasn't much.....Peace and JAH Love

P.s Keep temp. 75-80 40% growth should be even, never tryed a black light, any sucess?
