Too much moisture in substrate jars?

I was wondering how bad it is if there is too much moisture in my substrate jars. I inoculated 6 quart jars filled with rye and are currently sitting in my incubator. A couple seem to have a little too much moisture. Will this prevent mycelium growth or is it alright?

Yes it could too dry or to wet can make things difficult.
But there is no good way to correct it.
How much or how moist is it, is there water build up in the jars.

I inoculated 20cc in 1 quart jars w/yellow popping corn. It has been 7 days and the only difference I see is a white goo substance at the bottom of the jars. I just gave them all a good shake and I'm wondering if and when the fuzzy mycellium will begin to grow. I'm concerned something has gone wrong but I have followed every step to a T and kept everything very sterile.

Thanks for bringing up a 9 year old post. But I suspect you are lying to us. Where did you find something saying to use 20cc in a quart jar? This is not standard practice but it can be done. I suspect the cream at the bottom is left over from the corn being to wet.
