Anyone else have trouble finding it? I called about six places ( Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Home Depot and some some private gardening shops) I finally found it at Lowes, but man most places havn't even heard of it.
And just for anyone's information, 10 lbs bag at Lowes is around 10$ including tax.

My home depot didn't have them either. I got mine at OSH (Orchard Supply Hardware). Look for a gardening supply store and tehy will probably have a better clue. Much love from us juggalo thugs!

Calling a super-store like that and asking for something like vermiculite is akin to peeing in to a fan blowing toward you...you only do it once.
Walk in to the place like you own it....go to the garden section and look for the Scotts products. Once you get a lady from the garden center to listen to you , whe will know where they keep the Scotts stuff at least.
There are precious few service people that give a rats ass about a phone call for some such item. Face to face, it's slightly better.
