The Shroom Wizard says that a teaspoon of honey in a cup of water added to enough substrate to fill 12 jars will increase the yeild about 25%.

Don't listen to the Shroom Wizard, he does not deserve that title whatsoever

Honey works well for liquid cultures and such, but it cannot be added to an already established substrate and somehow magically re-introduce nutrients into the network; it doesn't work like that.
Using honey around your substrate is a quick way to contamination.

It's not going to increase your yield, I would recommend you spend your energy/time elsewhere--but feel free to experiment if you don't believe me.
