So i see alot of LC teks, most of them say PC... F*** that. LCs let alot of people down cause they just cant get it right... right? so here's my attempt to get the noobs more involved on what every grower knows is the faster method for grows.

Q. How does a liquid culture benefit me?
A. By eliminating your waiting for germination so read this.

What you'll need!

1. 3 1/2pt jars with bands and lids
2. Light Karo corn syrup
3. A pillow that has some poly-fil in it
4. an empty syringe (10 or 20ml)
5. a spore syringe
6. Some incubation chamber

The jar...
you'll need to make a quarter inch hole right near the edge of your jar, but not too close as to prevent the seal. Fill that hole with poly-fil so that the poly-fil is about 3 or 4 times as compressed as it is standing by itself.

The contents... (MUST BE EXACT)
You can use measuring cups and a teaspoon if you like, but it makes getting the right ratio alot harder. Syringes are cheap and easy to acquire at your local feed n seed shop or online at ryvmed.com

Measure out 55ml (55cc) of water and put it in your jar. Measure out 2ml of karo and put it in your jar. (I use 53ml to 2ml but 55 is an easier number because IMO a little under 4% is optimal although most say 4% is the way to go.)

Sterilization
Easy as pie... wrap double layered(or heavy duty) tin foil over top of jars half way down jar. put your jars in a pot with a rag on the bottom. fill with water up to water line in jar. Heat on high til boiling, reduce heat around med/low and cover. Let boil without opening lid (once you find the right point on your stove so that it doesnt boil over) for 20min. Let cool for 2hrs inside without opening top. If you go to long you get caramlized media (it turns yellowish-brown)... thats why we dont PC LCs, carmelization causes slowing in the growing...

inoculation
First things first, turn off the ac, heat, or fan. Wipe down all surfaces in your work area with lysol or some other sterilizer. nuke your whole kitchen with oust. No... really... nuke it. Now get out your styrofoam cooler, rubber gloves, and isopropyl alcohol. Cup your hand and pour a small amount of alcohol in one hand and rub your hands together as if you were washing them. The alcohol will evaporate within a few seconds. Remove your jars from the pot and place them in your work area but do not remove the foil yet. Very carefully remove the syringe from its bag but leave the needle cap on. Shake the syringe to mix up the spore water evenly. Remove the foil from your jars and tighten the lids. Remove the needle cap from your syringe. Stick the needle in an alcohol soaked paper towel and then in one of your jar's hole. eject 1/2cc in there. Do this as quickly as possible to every jar sticking the needle in the alcohol pad each time. Immediately after you have inoculated all the jars, put two coffee filters on top and rubber band them underneath the band. carefully place them into your cooler. YOUR DONE! If you do all of these steps and dont try to take shortcuts, you will not get ANY contamination!!

Incubate @ 84F

when theres a nickle sized blob, shake and you got 57 1/2cc of innoculant that skips the germination process in your jars.
