Dimension of Conciousness.

I think this may be a little redundant and basic, but I think it is a pretty interesting concept.
You have dimensions such as flat planes, 3 dimensions, time, etc, and then I was thinking that conciousness could really be a fundamental dimension.
It brings things into being in a certain sense.
If there is no one there to perceive things, would they really exist?
Conciousness is also very variable and affects what is.
Just something to think about.

Consciousness doesn't exist on it's own. It is brought by several factors. Like existence, senses, memory, etc. In order to make the consciousness non-existent, you have to eliminate what causes it. If you do that, you then have to eliminate they factors. And so on. Till you get to nothing, till you make non-existence happen? But can nothing be? And if it is, it is SOMETHING.

Time does not exist by its own right, either, and is derived through the relationship of several factors as well.
The fact that our understanding of consciousness is rather limited would suggest that there is quite a bit more to take into consideration regarding consciousness before we begin to draw conclusions concerning it.
It is an interesting thought, that of consciousness being another dimension. Consciousness, as we experience it (that which is responsible for experience, no less ), doesn't exist within a space dimension, at least in any way that I can conceive of it (I don't understand the quantam world or anything).
Consciousness certainly should be the focal point of our pursuits, considering its mysteries and the profound nature of it. The simple fact that we can experience - mindblowing.

Nothing can be. The fact that one forms a conception that it is "something" if it exists as "nothing" doesn't mean that it actually is "something". It is the lack of something, and a lack doesn't make something "something"; it is the quality of lack.
 Peace.

and how do you define nothingness? And what happens to everything that was before? Where did it go?
