B+ vs. GT

On 09FEB06, a first time grower inoculated 6, 1/2 pint SS jars. Four of them with 1cc of B+, one with 1cc of Golden Teacher, and one with 2cc of Golden Teacher.
As of 06MAR06, the GT is doing quite well, and I will guess that it will be ready to birth in perhaps 2 weeks? The B+ however, is doing horrible. It is unknown whether the syringe was lacking on spores, or if B+ is just really this slow.
Only 2 of the 4 jars show any fuzz what-so-ever, and of those 2, it's only a little bit of fuzz ABOVE the innoc. points.
All jars are in a place with ambient temp of 68 degrees F.
Is this to be expected with B+? One might feel like they're wasting their time with such a strain when the GT is speedily taking shape.
Also, when is it time to birth? When the jars are completely white to the point of looking "dense" and "chaulky"?
Best regards

b+ sucks. You need to try and get them jars a bit warmer, set them in a box next to the heat register or on top of the fridge. Birth them like 2 days after it is fully colonised on the outside.

If placed in say, a 75-80 degree climate from 09FEB06, would those same GT's be ready to go by now, you think? I will post some photos if you are interested.
I just want to get this right

You need to place the jars in an area with a temp of atleast 84 degrees farenheit if you want fast colonization.

not real good advice there Stuck...
I never go over 81 degrees F. because the substrate inside of the jars creates a few more degrees of heat.
