To the gourmet mycologists

Hello legal mushroom farmers. I am thinkin about trying to cultivate some eatin shrooms. My pops is really into the whole cullinary thing and I think that it would be nice to hook him up with some nice fresh mushrooms. A couple of questions though. Do edible mushrooms need to be cultivated on wood or can I just use a modified pf tek. Also what mushrooms do you guys like best. What is the easiest to grow. Any help here would be great

Your best bet would be to buy The Mushroom Cultivator by Stamets, this book covers every question you might have(at least questions on mushroom cultivation :wink:

) at great detail.
