brf doesn't nuke well. its bakes and becomes useless. stick to boiling. i once did this and it worked decently.

I take it you are doing PF cakes with verm?
Be careful with verm since it can reach extremely high temps in the microwave, it can break pyrex dishes. I would suggest making up your cake mix as normal and then weighing your jars. Note the weights and add more water, maybe 100ml per jar if you can. Then microwave them on high until steaming, then on low for a good 40mins at least, you should microwave until they weigh what they originally did. If they are too dry you can inject lots of LC to start them. Or add more boiling water and nuke again for 15 mins at least. After a while you get to know your microwaves characteristics. This can be calculated to give a rough guide. Bring say 500ml of water to boiling then microwave on low for 20mins and calculate how much water was lost. Say you lost 200ml in 20mins, that is 100ml in 10mins. This means if you have 4 jars and add 100ml extra water then it should take about 40mins to boil off the total 400ml.

Excess water allows for a good steaming of the jar substrate with good even heating, reducing the effect of hot/cold spots in the microwave.

ok so boiling them for an hour and a half is better than anything you can do with the microwave?
