What are some reasons my mushrooms are dying?

Why do some of my casings randomly stop growing all mushrooms already in progress? They'll start drying out, and it's happening too much for me not to figure out how to fix it.

are you keeping your casing layer to correct moisture content... are you keeping your RH at optimal conditions?

The heat level should be alright, most the ones that start drying out like that are the ones that ended up side pinning, so I tried taking out of the tupperware, and put them on the lid to birth like a cake. I also added a fan to my room, could that be a big factor?

I mist twice a day, and I'm just using maybe a six inch deep tupperware

do you have the casings inside a fruiting chamber? or are they just chillen in your room... they should be in an environment with a controlled humidity so they dont dry out.

yeah from what it sounds like you dont have them in a fruiting chamber, and you MUST do that unless your house is at like 85% humidity all day
