Cleaning Syringes
    #536498 - 01/31/02 12:20 AM (22 years, 2 months ago)

Just wondering if anyone could offer a good method for cleaning spore syringes for reuse? I was thinking maybe a dilluted solution of hydrogen peroxide or bleach in water, then rinsing it out with a few fills of boiling water, keeping the last pull of water inside it until use. Any ideas as to if this would be okay, or any other methods?

I usually boil or microwave some water. Suck it up. Shoot it out. Suck up some more. Shoot it out. Pressure cooker the syringe(s) at 15PSI for 20 minutes or boil for 1hour and the boil/microwave/pressurecook more water and suck it up and keep it in there.

You got it. Just make the first fill with rubbing alcohol, then rinse with boiling water 4 or 5 times and leave the last pump in to cool
